Day 1     Arrive Mumbai
Arrive Mumbai international airport, after meet and greet by local tour manager transfer to hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.
 
 
Day 2      Mumbai – Poona (Pune) Drive 110 Km.
In the morning, drive to Poona, Arrive by late morning and check-in to hotel. After wash and change, orientation tour of Poona city, where Shivaji, the great Maratha leader was raised. It was one time capital of the Mahratta confederacy and then of the British Bombay Presidency during the Monsoon.
 
 
Day 3     Poona – Ahmednagar Drive
In the morning drive to Ahmednagar, arrive by late morning and check in at hotel. After wash and change, explore 400 year old Ahmednagar Fort. The first Maratha war and Battle of Ahmadnagar (August/September 1803 ) were lead by wellington.
 
 
Day 4     Ahmednagar – Aurangabad Drive
In the morning, again a short drive to Aurangabad, further 30 km drive will take us to Ellora Caves, 34 rock-cut temples here represent, the Buddhist, Jain and Brahmin with monolithic sculpture . Return to Aurangabad and check-in at hotel.
 
 
Day 5     Aurnagabad – Assaye – Akola Drive
Today, we leave early in the morning for a day long journey to Akola via Assaye. We have ample time to trace the footsteps of Wellington in Assaye, we will take walking tour of Assaye village and field. Later, we drive to Akola for night stay.
 
 
Day 6     Akola – Argaum – Chikaldara Drive
In the morning, we drive a short distance to Argaum to give a look to the battlefield which has been turned into forming land. Later, we drive to Chikaldhara, arrive and check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
 
 
Day 7     In Chikhaldhara
Today, we will explore the vast legendary Gawilghur Fort. It would take several hours to discover the fort and locate cannon marks on the walls. If time allows, we will visit the wildlife sanctuary in adjacent to the fort.
 
 
Day 8     Chikhaldhara – Nagpur Drive 240 Km.
After leisurely breakfast depart for a long drive to Nagpur, arrive and check-in at hotel. Nagpur, once the capital of Central Province is presently famous for Orange production. (Battle history to check and include)
 
 
Day 9     Nagpur – Bombay Fly
In the morning fly to Bombay (Mumbai) the metropolitan city and the modern business hub. Arrive and transfer to hotel. After wash and change, orientation tour of Wellington’s and Imperial Bombay, visit, Gateway of India, The Prince of Wales’s Museum, Crawford Market and ore.
 
 
Day 10    Bombay – Check Out
Transfer to international airport in time to board homeward / onward flight.
